JOB DESCRIPTION:

SugarKane Restaurant, located at 699 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario is recruiting for the position of FULL-TIME Restaurant Manager. We are looking for a committed, caring, and energetic individual who will make SugarKane the great place it is to work. We provide a fun-filled atmosphere, competitive wages, and opportunities to grow.

JOB DUTIES:

• Manage and coordinate end-to-end FOH & BOH operations of the restaurant.
• Coordinate and manage the entire staff of the restaurant.
• Generate detailed daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on business, staff, and profits.
• Prepare staff schedules that optimize labor costs while ensuring sufficient operational coverage.
• Estimate consumption, forecast requirements & maintain inventory.
• Ensure that food and service meet our standards.
• Ensure kitchen staff adheres to recipes & portion sizes.
• Assist kitchen & service staff during peak operational hours.
• Train new employees in job duties, health, hygiene & safety standards as per company policy.
• Maintain records of sales, stocks, wastage, breakage & repairs
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed to ensure a safe work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service & resolve customer complaints.
• Recruit, train, and motivate FOH & BOH staff.
• Responsible for increasing the business of the restaurant.
• Increase the profits by minimizing wastage & cost control.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 7-months or more
• Education: High School

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

• Wages: $37/hour
• 30 hours/week
