AVS Cleaning Solutions Inc. is looking for reliable and hardworking Light Duty Cleaners to join our team. The successful candidates will provide commercial cleaning and sanitation services at our client worksite in Sidney, British Columbia.

Work Location: 9899 McDonald Park Road, Sidney, BC V8L 5W5
Work Setting: Commercial facility/warehouse
Wage: $22.00 per hours and 4% Vacation pay of gross wages
Overtime: 1.5 times the regular hourly wage after 40 hours per week
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- No previous experience required. Training will be provided.
Job Duties
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors and other surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets, mats and other floor coverings.
- Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, equipment and other surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, sinks, toilets, fixtures and common areas.
- Clean and disinfect employee changing rooms and other designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect elevators and frequently touched surfaces.
- Pick up debris and empty garbage and recycling containers.
- Dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Wash windows, walls, doors and other surfaces as required.
- Replenish washroom and cleaning supplies as required.
- Use cleaning products, disinfectants and cleaning equipment safely and according to instructions.
- Maintain assigned work areas in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.
- Report damaged equipment, safety concerns and areas requiring additional cleaning to the supervisor.
- Follow workplace health, safety and sanitation procedures.
