Position: Logistics Manager - Courier Service (NOC 70021)

Location: Suite#200 7404 King George Blvd Surrey BC V3W 1N6 Canada

Salary: $46/Hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Languages: English

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Supervision: 16-20 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility

Type of industry experience:  Business Services

Security and safety: Criminal record check, Basic security clearance, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)

Computer and technology knowledge:  MS Excel, MS Word

Area of work experience: Operations

Area of specialization: Operations Management

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Courier processing facility / Courier and parcel express service

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Tight deadlines, Large caseload

Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence, Own transportation, Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by employer

• Evaluate daily operations
• Plan and control budget and expenditures
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Authorize delivery routes
• Hire, train, direct and motivate staff
• Oversee the receiving, sorting, routing and delivery of mail
• Oversee the selection, operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Oversee the preparation of reports
• Advise senior management
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Oversee the analysis of data and information
