Pacific Valley Enterprises Inc. is looking for 10 motivated and reliable Long-Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. Immediate full-time, year-round positions are available for drivers operating routes throughout Canada and the continental United States.

Wages and Hours

• Wage: $38.45 per hour
• Hours: 40–50 hours per week
• Vacation Pay: 4% vacation pay paid with each scheduled paycheque

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Endorsement
• Valid passport and ability to legally enter the United States
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing, as required for U.S. DOT-regulated routes
• Completion of secondary school
• Previous long-haul truck driving experience is an asset
• Must be willing and able to complete long-haul routes throughout Canada and the United States

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and drive tractor-trailers to transport goods throughout Canada and the United States
• Drive independently or as part of a two-person driving team
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, systems, and equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs when required
• Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo and ensure the safe handling and delivery of goods
• Ensure required documentation and permits are in order for cross-border routes
• Maintain accurate logbooks and records of cargo, mileage, fuel consumption, hours of service, and expenses
• Maintain regular communication with dispatchers and other team members
• Comply with applicable transportation, safety, and cross-border requirements
