Wireframe is a medical-device studio focused on the design, prototyping and small-batch manufacturing of wearable and diagnostic devices. We are seeking an Embedded Electronics Technologist to work under our Technical Lead.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schematics and multilayer PCB layouts for compact, battery-powered wearable and diagnostic devices using Fusion, KiCad or equivalent tools.
• Select components based on size, cost, power requirements and established compliance practices.
• Produce fabrication packages, including Gerber files, bills of materials, assembly drawings and design documentation.
• Perform bench bring-up and hardware debugging using I2C/SPI sensors, BLE microcontrollers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and soldering equipment.
• Support the mechanical integration of boards, flex/rigid-flex assemblies and enclosures.
• Maintain traceable records for client handoff and contribute to internal reference modules.

This position does not involve supervising staff or final engineering approval authority.

Qualifications

• College diploma in electrical/electronics technology, or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in embedded electronics design, layout or bring-up.
• Skills in PCB layout, BLE/MCU platforms such as STM32, nRF or ESP32, I2C/SPI, bench debugging and Gerber/BOM preparation.
• Ability to communicate and maintain technical documentation in English.
