Position-Facility Operations Manager
Wage: $45.00 per hour
Hours: 35–40 hours per week

Job Duties
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's transportation facility, truck yard and truck/trailer workshop.
- Arrange and supervise the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery and other company assets.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for preventive maintenance and safety inspections of the facility and operational equipment.
- Direct and coordinate the maintenance and repair of the facility's machinery, equipment, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Inspect the facility and operational areas to identify maintenance requirements, equipment deficiencies and safety concerns, and coordinate appropriate corrective action.
- Estimate and monitor costs associated with equipment installation, maintenance, repairs and facility services.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of facility improvements, equipment installations and infrastructure development.
- Coordinate with the company's operations, shop, fleet, safety and compliance departments to ensure the facility and supporting infrastructure meet operational requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor contractors, vendors and service providers engaged in facility maintenance, repairs, equipment servicing and related work.
- Maintain facility and maintenance records and assist in preparing and monitoring the facility operations budget.
- Coordinate with the Safety and Compliance Department to maintain appropriate workplace safety standards, inspections and procedures.
- Compile relevant operational and facility data and prepare reports and statistics for management.
- Hire, train and supervise employees assigned to facility-related functions and establish work priorities.
- Resolve facility, equipment and service-related problems and coordinate timely corrective action to minimize disruption to operations.
Employment Requirements
Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Experience:
2 years of relevant experience.
Area of Work Experience: Transportation Facility Operations
Computer and Technology Knowledge:
MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, presentation software and MS Windows.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage a large workload and maintain attention to detail.
