Dispatch Supervisor

Galaxy Freightline Inc., located at 1580 Britannia Rd E, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J2, requires 1 Dispatch Supervisor on a Permanent full-time basis.

Wage: $36 per hour

Hours: 30 hours or above per week.

Experience: Must have 2 years to less than 3 years of verifiable experience.  

Education: College

Job Duties

• Manage Dispatch Operations—Schedule trucks and drivers efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Coordinate Drivers and Fleet—Communicate with drivers and oversee vehicle maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Plan Routes and Loads—Optimize routes, assign loads, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Supervise Dispatch Staff – Train, mentor, and evaluate dispatchers for performance and compliance.
• Handle Customer and Carrier Relations—Communicate shipment updates and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain Records and Reports—Track deliveries and driver hours and generate performance reports.
• Ensure Safety and Compliance—Monitor regulations, driver hours of service, and investigate incidents.
