Job Duties

• Plan and allocate human, material, and financial resources to support organizational operations and policies.
• Coordinate the activities of different departments and ensure effective communication between operational areas.
• Establish operational objectives and assist in developing, implementing, and approving organizational policies and programs.
• Organize the establishment of major departments and oversee the development of senior staff positions as required.
• Represent the organization, or designate authorized representatives, during negotiations and other official functions.
• Recruit and select middle managers, directors, and other supervisory or executive-level personnel.
• Delegate responsibilities and appropriate authority to managers and supervisory staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Establish effective working conditions and provide direction to management and supervisory personnel.
• Monitor departmental performance and ensure organizational objectives are achieved.
• Support the overall coordination and administration of food and beverage service operations.

Supervision

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising approximately 5–10 employees.

Education

• College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma
• Program duration of 1 to 2 years

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience in operations management, preferably within a food and beverage service environment
