Responsibilities
Tasks
- Perform data entry
- Assign projects and programs
- Develop specific plans to prioritize
- Keep logs and maintain records
- Keep track of shipments
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work
- Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings
- Track and complete work orders
- Work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories and databases
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems
- Follow-up on issues with work orders
- Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
- Prepare and track work orders
- Compile orders and instructions received from customers
- Revise type and quantity of materials required sent for production, construction and other projects
