Job Description

Takhi Transport Inc. is seeking experienced and organized Truck Drivers Supervisors to oversee truck drivers, coordinate transportation activities, and support the safe and efficient operation of our trucking operations.

Main Duties

• Supervise daily operations to ensure drivers meet delivery schedules and maintain route efficiency.
• Coordinate driver assignments based on workload, vehicle availability, and priority deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and transportation laws.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure fleet readiness and minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor drivers, promoting adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Review trip logs and performance reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Resolve transportation issues, including route adjustments and customer complaints.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods, maintaining product safety and integrity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to optimize team productivity.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers, clients, and management for seamless operations.

Requirements

• Secondary school graduation certificate.

• 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience.

• Previous experience supervising truck drivers in the trucking industry.

• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transportation activities.

• Knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook and MS Word.

• Reliable and dependable with strong teamwork skills.

• Basic security clearance and criminal record check may be required.
