1 Best Brains Learning Centre is a nationally recognized after-school enrichment program dedicated to helping students build strong academic foundations and lifelong learning skills. Serving students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 (ages 3 to 14), our proprietary, non-repetitive curriculum develops mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and dedicated Part-Time Math Instructor who is passionate about education and enjoys helping students reach their full potential in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
As a Math Instructor, you will teach small groups of students using the Best Brains curriculum. All lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom resources are provided, allowing you to focus entirely on student learning, engagement, and academic growth.
No lesson planning required.
• Teach Mathematics to students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 using the Best Brains curriculum.
• Create an engaging and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to succeed.
• Provide individualized support based on each student’s learning pace and abilities.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence in mathematics.
• Assess academic progress and maintain accurate student records.
• Collaborate with the Centre Director to support student success.
• Provide professional and constructive feedback regarding student progress and milestones.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification.
• Teacher Candidates currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education program.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• College diploma candidates with relevant teaching or tutoring experience may also be considered.
• Minimum one year of teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or instructional experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and classroom management abilities.
• Passion for helping students build confidence and academic excellence.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to student success.
• No lesson planning required.
• Fully prepared curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
