Styx Intelligence Inc. is currently hiring a Software Developer. This is a permanent and full-time position.

Position: Software Developer

Duties and responsibilities

• Work with the lead architect on solution design and implementation
• Build efficient python modules for integration with third party systems
• Write optimized SQL queries and maintain MySQL database instance
• Develop server code & architecture
• Take ownership of tasks on project from conception through post-release
• Write robust, efficient, extensible, easily maintained codes
• Mentor junior programmers on development practices, application architecture and design
• Spec new features, in collaboration with product, marketing, business, etc.
• Develop and maintain documentation of system configuration and systems operational support procedures
• Prepare required documentation, including both application-level user level documentation.
• Participate in discussions about development projects in the business

Employment requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a significant programming component.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in software development or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript programming.
• Experience developing applications using AWS cloud services and integrating backend services with front-end components through APIs.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch, as well as query optimization.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and integrating AI-enabled features into software applications.
• Proficiency in English.

C$82,000 per year
