Job Description
Livtar Singh Dhaliwal, Charanjeet Kaur Dhaliwal is looking for a permanent full-time Child Caregiver for look after their Child at their residence in 2843 Leigh Rd Langford BC Canada V9B 4G5
Duties to Perform:

•  Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for a toddler.
• Feed the child and assist with self-feeding as needed.
• Change diapers regularly and assist with early potty-training routines, as appropriate.
• Perform child-related housekeeping tasks, including washing the child's clothing and cleaning play areas.
• Clean up after meals and ensure feeding areas remain tidy.
• Oversee the child’s daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest/nap periods.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment in the home at all times.
• Teach and reinforce personal hygiene skills suitable for a toddler, such as handwashing and brushing teeth with assistance.
• Monitor the child’s health and hygiene needs and administer medications as instructed by the parents, if required.
• Follow the parents’ preferred methods for guiding behavior and implementing discipline.
• Provide age-appropriate learning and developmental activities, including games, crafts, reading, sensory play, and outdoor outings.
• Support early learning by encouraging language development, motor skills, and social skills through play-based activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s progress, behavior, routines, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with parents and, when applicable, early childhood professionals to support the child’s developmental needs.

Requirement for Job:
Completion of secondary school is required.
6 months of related experience is required OR Completion of at least 6 months or longer training program in child care or in a related field is required.

Good communication skills in English.

Criminal record check.

Nonsmoking individual.

Benefits:
The job is full-time, 30-40 hours per week (minimum 30 hours are guaranteed), Monday to Friday.

30 minutes paid meal break, 5 days of paid sick leave. 4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
Free of cost in home accommodation can be provided, if needed. This is not the requirement of employment. We may help in finding suitable accommodation nearby, if needed.
