Job Description
Sharanjit Singh Taggar is looking for a permanent full-time Caregiver for look after their Children at their residence in Surrey, BC.
Duties to Perform:

Plan, prepare, and serve healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks for two children, ages 4 and 5.

Feed the children and encourage independent self-feeding while providing assistance when needed.

Change diapers regularly and assist with early potty-training routines, as appropriate.

Carry out child-related household tasks, such as laundering the children's clothing, organizing their belongings, and keeping play areas clean and tidy.

Clean and sanitize dining areas, dishes, and high chairs after meals and snacks.

Organize and supervise the children's daily schedule, including meals, playtime, educational activities, naps or quiet time, and bedtime routines as required.

Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment that promotes the children's health and well-being.

Teach and reinforce good personal hygiene habits, including proper handwashing, tooth brushing with assistance, and other age-appropriate self-care skills.

Monitor the children's overall health, hygiene, and well-being, and administer medications according to the parents' instructions when necessary.

Follow the parents' preferred approaches to behavior management and provide consistent, positive guidance and discipline.

Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development, including reading, arts and crafts, sensory play, educational games, music, and supervised outdoor activities.

Foster the children's cognitive, language, physical, emotional, and social development through interactive, play-based learning experiences.

Maintain regular communication with the parents regarding the children's daily routines, developmental progress, behavior, achievements, and any concerns.

Work collaboratively with the parents and, when appropriate, early childhood educators or other professionals to support the children's individual developmental needs and overall growth.

Requirement for Job:
Completion of secondary school is required.
6 months of related experience is required OR Completion of at least 6 months or longer training program in child care or in a related field is required.

Good communication skills in English.

Criminal record check.

Nonsmoking individual.

Benefits:
The job is full-time, 30-40 hours per week (minimum 30 hours are guaranteed), Monday to Friday.

30 minutes paid meal break, 5 days of paid sick leave. 4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
Free of cost in home accommodation can be provided, if needed. This is not the requirement of employment. We may help in finding suitable accommodation nearby, if needed.
