Job Description

1269262 BC LTD DBA SEHMBEY ESTATES is looking for 5 general farm workers for their farms.

Work sites: Year-round work, Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, hot/cold

Job Duties

• Field work, Soil Preparation, plowing, pruning, planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, sorting, packing of the

field crops.

• Examining produce for quality and prepare for market,

• Loading produce into trucks etc. Assist in shipping/receiving activities.

• Monitor irrigation & the soil moisture as per crop requirements.

• Using fertilizers, detecting disease and other problems in crops.

• Protecting crops from weeds & pests by taking appropriate actions

• Operating & maintaining farm machinery & equipment.

Job Requirements

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: No experience required. We will train.

Languages: No specific language requirements

Essential Skills: Be able to work individually and in a team. Ability to lift 50 lbs of weight.

Benefits

4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid. Accommodation can be provided at $30 per week.
