Responsibilities:
Tasks
- Deliver professional food and beverage service while ensuring compliance with responsible alcohol service regulations
- Welcome guests in a courteous manner, provide dining assistance, and create a positive hospitality experience
- Explain menu offerings, featured items, chef specials, and beverage pairings to assist guests with informed selections
- Recommend suitable food and drink options based on customer preferences, dietary requests, and dining requirements
- Prepare and finalize tableside specialty food items in accordance with restaurant presentation and service standards
- Accurately process guest payments through cash, debit, credit card, room charge, and other approved payment methods
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, reconcile sales transactions, and support daily balancing activities
- Serve meals, beverages, and additional dining requests promptly while maintaining quality service standards
- Monitor dining areas to ensure tables, trays, seating, and service stations remain clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and service issues professionally to maintain guest satisfaction
- Support guests requiring additional assistance or accommodation to ensure an inclusive dining experience
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely order delivery and smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety standards in all front-of-house service areas
- Provide attentive customer support throughout the dining experience to encourage repeat business and positive guest relations
