Job Title: child Caregiver

Location: Private residence

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours, 5 days a week

Salary: $19.00/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Child Caregiver to provide full-time care for a child with a disability in a private home. The caregiver will be responsible for ensuring the child's safety, health, comfort, and overall well-being while providing a nurturing and supportive environment.

Main Duties:

• Provide attentive, full-time care and supervision for a child with a disability.
• Assist with personal care, including dressing, 
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary requirements.
• Monitor the child's condition and respond appropriately to medical or emergency situations.
• Accompanying the child to medical appointments if parents are not available.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the child's care, including laundry, cleaning toys, and preparing meals.

• Qualifications:

  • Secondary school diploma.
  • Previous experience caring for children, preferably children with disabilities or special medical needs.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
