Job Title: Home Child Care Provider / Caregiver for Elderly Person with Disability

Location: Private residence, Quebec, Canada

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Home Child Care Provider/Caregiver to provide care for our children and an elderly family member with a disability in a private home. The successful candidate will help ensure the safety, well-being, and daily care of both the children and the elderly individual while maintaining a clean and organized home environment.

Main Duties:

  • Supervise and care for children in the employer's home.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Assist children with personal hygiene, dressing, and daily routines.
  • Organize educational and recreational activities appropriate for the children's ages.
  • Escort children to and from school, appointments, and activities as required.
  • Provide companionship and personal care to the elderly person with a disability.
  • Assist with mobility, bathing, dressing, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
  • Administer medications as directed by the employer or healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor the health and safety of both the children and the elderly individual and report any concerns.
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation related to the care of the family members.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in child care, elderly care, or caregiving is an asset.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
  • Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and dependable.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Work Schedule:
Full-time, including flexible hours, evenings, weekends, or holidays when required by the family's caregiving needs.

Salary:  $19.27/hr - 40 hours , 5 days from Monday and Saturday, 2 days off Saturday and Sunday

                10 days Vacation leave- 3 days Sickleave.
