Long Haul Truck Drivers (Team Positions Available)

Emperor Express Ltd. is seeking five (5) motivated and reliable Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We have immediate full-time, permanent positions available for team drivers operating long-haul routes throughout Canada and the United States. Wages & Hours

• Wage: $35.00 per hour
• Hours: 50–60 hours per week
• Vacation Pay: 4% paid with each scheduled paycheck
• Sick Leave: Five (5) paid sick days per year
• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent, year-round
• Benefits: Medical, dental, and extended health benefits after 90 days

Job Requirements

• Valid BC Class 1 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
• Valid passport and ability to legally enter the United States
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (U.S. DOT requirement)
• Completion of secondary school
• Previous experience is an asset (training provided)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy on long-haul routes.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo safely.
• Obtain permits and other required documents for cross-border and international transportation.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Inspect tires, brakes, lights, refrigeration units, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Perform minor roadside repairs and brake adjustments when required.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding deliveries, routes, and schedules.
• Comply with all company policies and applicable transportation and safety regulations.
