Job Description:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of logging workers, equipment operators etc.
• Plan and schedule logging operations to meet production targets and delivery timelines.
• Assign work duties, monitor employee performance, and provide training and guidance to mill workers.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies, safe work procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate the use and maintenance of logging equipment, including harvesters, feller bunchers, skidders, loaders, and trucks.
• Maintain production records, daily reports, equipment logs, and employee attendance records.
• Communicate with mill management, contractors, truck drivers, to coordinate wood deliveries.
• Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating logging crew members.
• Resolve operational issues and implement improvements to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels of fuel, parts, and supplies required for logging operations.
• Recommend disciplinary actions, promotions, or other personnel decisions when appropriate.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year work experience in the related field is required.
• Company specific training and on-the-job training will be provided.
