IT (information technology) development manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of IT department
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems
• Meet with clients and internal stakeholders to determine system requirements, technical specifications, project costs, priorities and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and administer annual IT and project budgets, allocate resources, track expenditures and ensure initiatives remain within approved financial limits.
• Recruit, supervise, train and mentor IT personnel, evaluate their performance and support their professional development.
• Lead and co-ordinate teams of design professionals in the development and integration of information and communication system architecture, hardware and software
• Evaluate existing systems and emerging technologies and recommend improvements that increase system reliability, efficiency and organizational performance.
