We are the franchise of Mary Brown’s Chicken & Taters and are running the Fast-food outlet at Orillia, Ontario.

 

We are the franchise store of Mary Brown’s and are running the Fast-food outlet at

Orillia since February 2021. Mary Brown’s is a fast-food restaurant capturing a truly

modern taste of the fried chicken recipe famous since 1969. They bought the recipe

and started a chicken revolution in Canada.

 

Our Store is located at 324 Memorial Avenue, Orillia, Ontario, L3V 5X9, Canada.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepared and cooked chicken, sandwiches, fries, and other menu items according to Mary Brown's recipes and quality standards.
  • Marinated, breaded, and cooked chicken using commercial fryers while maintaining proper cooking temperatures.
  • Prepared ingredients by washing, cutting, measuring, and portioning food items for daily operations.
  • Monitored food quality, freshness, and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
  • Followed food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including safe food handling and storage procedures.
  • Operated and maintained commercial kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and food preparation tools.
  • Managed inventory levels, rotated stock using FIFO methods, and reported shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Maintained a clean and organized kitchen by sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout each shift.
  • Coordinated with team members to prepare customer orders efficiently during busy service periods.
  • Assisted with receiving food supplies, checking deliveries, and storing products according to company standards.

 

Qualifications and Skills:



  • At least 2 – 3 years related experience of Cook.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and with team too.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities. 
  • Have good communication skills.
