Job Description: 1287400 BC Ltd Dba Petro Canada, 537 Hays Cove Circle, Prince Rupert, V8J 2C3 is hiring 1 full time/permanent manager for store. The start date is as soon as possible.

Job Duties:

•Plan, direct, and evaluate the day-to-day operations of gas station and convenience store, ensuring smooth business operations

•Design marketing strategies to build brand awareness and attract customers

•Analyze customer behavior, competitors, and industry trends through reports, surveys, and online data sources. Look for patterns in consumer demand and adapt accordingly

•Oversee, supervise, and assign duties to staff to maintain smooth daily operations and high service standards

•Regularly review sales data to determine best-selling products

•Introduce or phase out items based on profitability and customer feedback.

•Set competitive prices based on market research, cost of goods, and desired profit margins.

•Ensure pricing aligns with the company's strategy and remains attractive to consumers.

•Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability at favorable terms.

•Maintain inventory levels through a robust stock management system

•Design marketing strategies to build brand awareness and attract customers

•Use both traditional and digital marketing tactics

•Develop a comprehensive budget covering all operational costs. Monitor revenues and expenses monthly to ensure the business stays financially on track

•Assess staffing needs and hire qualified candidates

•Act as a point of contact for resolving customer complaints, service interruptions, or supply chain issues

•Train staff in conflict resolution and have an emergency protocol for shortages.

•Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery

•Monitor business performance, setting clear objectives and regularly evaluating progress

•Consider using ERP systems, POS tools, and inventory management software for smoother operations

•Use communication platforms as required for task tracking and team collaboration.

•Gather customer feedback

 Employment requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in retail sector as a supervisor is required.
  • Efficiency in English.
  • Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Combination of sitting, standing.

 

Benefits
