Room Attendant

Great job opportunity!

Permanent full-time Room Attendant wanted for “1852124 Alberta Ltd. o/a Ace Crown Motel” located at Unit #633 14 Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4V5.  The wage rate is $18.20 per hour and works 40 hours per week. Benefit includes 4% vacation pay.

JOB DUTIES

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies and other items.
• Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Wash windows and walls.
• Report and store lost and found items.
• Provide basic information on the motel.

Skills/Personal Suitability Requirements: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use. Able and Willing to work weekends and overtime.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.

Language: English

Work experience: Experience an asset but not required as employer will train
