Title of position: Personal support worker – Carmel B.
The caregiver's primary responsibility is to provide personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance to an elderly woman. The position requires a compassionate, patient, and dependable individual who is capable of providing hands-on support with personal care, mobility, and household management while ensuring the client's safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Duties:
• Administer personal care
• Assist with medications
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship
• Provide personal care
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare/cook and serve nutritious meals


Terms of employment: 40 hours/week, permanent, full-time, mornings, day, evening, with
overtime if needed
Wages: $22 per hour

Education required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate /Completion of high
school
Work experience required: 1 months to 7 months of caregiving experience
Language required to do the work: English
Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living; must be able to safely assist the client, who weighs approximately 110 lbs, with mobility and other physical support as required. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physically demanding caregiving duties throughout the workday. The candidate must also be able to respond appropriately to the client’s changing physical and emotional needs.

Other conditions: Live in/Live out is considered & is optional (this is NOT a condition of
employment); staff accommodation available; optional accommodation available at no
charge on a live-in basis (this is NOT a condition of employment)
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Relocation costs (if any) will be covered by employer.
