Responsibilities
Tasks
- Administer evaluative tests
- Assess patients' physical abilities
- Examine the patient
- Make decisions on tests and procedures
- Supervise technical and support staff
- Plan physiotherapy programs
- Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations
- Maintain clinical and progress reports
- Confer with other health professionals
- Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
- Follow through on treatment programs with patients
- Maintain records and statistics
- Develop and implement treatment programs
- Consult with other health care professionals when developing treatment plans for clients
- Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs
- Provide consultation and advice
