Warehouse Operative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Label, sort, and store products in designated locations.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and scanners (training provided where required).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report stock discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
• Follow all company policies and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
• Forklift certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
