Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Label, sort, and store products in designated locations.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and scanners (training provided where required).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report stock discrepancies.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
- Follow all company policies and warehouse procedures.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
- Forklift certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
