Production Supervisor

C.B. Island Fisheries dba Norden Food is looking for a full-time Production Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who process, package, test and grade fish products

-Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments

-Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

-Requisition materials and supplies

-Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy

-Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions

-Prepare production and other reports

Education, skills and experience required:

-       Completion of secondary school

-       Several years of experience in the fish processing industry

-       Strong interpersonal skills

Language:

Communication skills in English 

Others:

-       Must be hygienic

Compensation: $36.60/hour, 40.00 hours/week, Extended Medical and Dental Benefits, 10 vacation days per year
