Long-Haul Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Long-Haul Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will transport goods safely and efficiently across provincial, national, and international routes while maintaining compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load, unload, secure, and tarp cargo as required.
- Transport dangerous goods in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy when required.
- Maintain accurate driver logbooks and records of cargo, fuel consumption, mileage, and hours of service.
- Receive and relay information to dispatch.
- Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, brakes, lights, and other equipment.
- Perform minor roadside repairs and brake adjustments when necessary.
- Obtain required permits and documentation for cross-border and international shipments.
- Provide professional customer service and address customer concerns.
- Ensure all cargo is transported safely and delivered on time.
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 2 to less than 3 years of Class 1 driving experience.
- Valid Class 1 (Class A) Driver's Licence.
- Air Brake (Q) Endorsement.
- Valid passport.
- Clean driver's abstract and licence verification.
- Ability to travel across Canada and the United States.
