Salary: $36.25 hourly/ 30 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean, inspect, and prepare meat, fish, and shellfish before cutting and processing.
- Break down whole carcasses, sides, and quarters into manageable sections for further preparation.
- Prepare custom meat cuts and portions based on individual customer preferences and special requests.
- Trim, cut, debone, and portion meat into standard retail cuts for display and sale.
- Properly wrap, package, and label meat products to maintain freshness and quality.
- Weigh meat products accurately and prepare them for retail sale.
- Apply the correct pricing and labels to meat products in accordance with store policies.
- Clean, fillet, and prepare fish and shellfish for customer purchase.
- Assist customers by recommending products, preparing orders, and completing meat sales.
- Guide, train, and oversee the work of junior butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers.
- Arrange and maintain attractive displays of meat, poultry, fish, and seafood to encourage sales.
- Shape, roll, lace, and tie roasts, poultry, and other meat or seafood products to meet presentation and cooking requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience will be considered as an Asset.
- Being accurate while cutting, weighing, and pricing meat products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Strong client focus is needed to meet customer requests and prepare custom cuts.
- Flexibility is required to adjust to varying tasks, orders, and shift needs.
- Excellent English oral and written communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
