Job Descriptions:

• Schedule and oversee the work of general farm labourers and pickers, and farm equipment operators.
• Assigns duties, such as tilling soil, planting, cultivating, and gathering berries, to farmworkers and oversees work activities.
• Regular preventative maintenance, repair, and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment
• Train new staff and ensure they are aware of company policies, are given role clarity and enable them to competently carry out tasks required of them.
• Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are understood and strictly followed.
• Promote and project a positive attitude towards the farm and its objectives.
• Oversee the overall handling of produce to ensure production meets the highest quality standards for the company.
• Make reports on time, equipment, materials, and production; keep records and prepare estimates of needs.
• Determines the number and kind of workers needed to perform required work, and schedules activities.
• Requisitions and purchases farm supplies

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Farmer.
