Senior Industrial Designer

Hourly Pay: CAD 36.00 (to be negotiated)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Part-/Full-time: Full time

Responsibility:

1. Consult with management and marketing teams to establish product requirements for the North American cookware market.
2. Analyze the intended use of products and user preferences to ensure ergonomic and aesthetic suitability for Western consumers.
3. Conduct research into cost, properties of production materials (such as titanium and eco-friendly coatings) and methods of production.
4. Develop computer-assisted design (CAD) concepts, sketches, or 3D models of cookware and handle profiles for approval. 
5. Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications, and guidelines for production by the overseas parent company, and construct prototypes of designs.
6. Consult with overseas engineers and production staff during the prototyping and manufacturing stages to ensure design accuracy.
