Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, internet connections and networking equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain and support routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls and related infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and implement corrective measures.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, hardware and software issues.
• Provide technical support to end users.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, backups and monitoring.
• Document configurations and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
• Assist with VoIP, telecommunications, wireless and fiber optic solutions.
• Participate in testing and optimization of network systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Employment Requirements                                                      

• Diploma or degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, wireless networking and network security.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and organizational skills.
