Salary: $36.25 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Custom cabinet shop, Millwork shop, Industrial, Commercial retail interior millwork
Tasks
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine millwork and cabinetry requirements.
- Fabricate custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, reception desks, wall panels, counters, display units, shelving systems, and other wood products for commercial and institutional construction projects.
- Set up, operate, and maintain woodworking machinery, including CNC routers, panel saws, edge banders, drills, sanders, and other specialized equipment.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, and machine wood, laminates, veneers, MDF, plywood, and composite materials according to design specifications.
- Assemble and fit custom cabinetry, casework, architectural millwork components, doors, drawers, and hardware using hand and power tools.
- Apply laminates, veneers, edging, trims, and finishing materials to completed millwork products.
- Inspect completed components to ensure dimensional accuracy, quality workmanship, and compliance with project specifications and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production staff to resolve fabrication issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Prepare finished millwork products for transportation and installation at commercial construction sites.
- Install and secure custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and wood fixtures at project locations as required.
- Perform on-site modifications, adjustments, repairs, and touch-ups to ensure proper fit and finish during installation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Monitor material usage and report material shortages or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Assist in quality control inspections and ensure all finished products meet client and project requirements.
