Responsibilities
Tasks
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders and process payments using a point-of-sale system.
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
- Portion, wrap and package take-out food orders.
- Serve customers at counters and buffet tables.
- Stock refrigerators, salad bars and food preparation areas.
- Replenish condiments, utensils and food supplies as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of counters, food preparation areas, kitchen equipment and dining areas.
- Receive and store food supplies and ingredients.
- Follow health, safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation duties as required.
- Ensure excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous manner.
