Our team works closely with patients and healthcare professionals to support the health and well-being of our community. We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Health Aid to assist with patient support services, administrative functions, and day-to-day healthcare operations within our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

l  Assist healthcare professionals with non-clinical patient support activities.

l  Provide assistance to patients and respond to general inquiries.

l  Prepare and distribute patient education and health information materials.

l  Assist with the coordination of patient care programs and follow-up activities under the direction of healthcare professionals.

l  Schedule and confirm appointments for pharmacy services and healthcare consultations.

l  Maintain and organize patient records, files, and related documentation.

l  Process forms, correspondence, and other administrative paperwork.

l  Receive, stock, and organize medical and healthcare supplies.

l  Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and equipment.

l  Clean, maintain, and prepare equipment and work areas in accordance with health and safety standards.

l  Support daily pharmacy operations and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school.
• Completion of a healthcare aide, health services, medical office assistant, or related healthcare training program is an asset.
• Previous experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, medical clinic, long-term care, or customer service environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality and privacy practices is an asset.
