Position Title: Nursery Labourers

Number of positions: 10                                                     

Terms of employment: Full-time; Permanent; Year- round work

Wages: $18.25 per hour

Anticipated start date:  As soon as possible

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare soil for planting, potting, and transplanting activities and plant bulbs, seeds, and cuttings etc.
• Weeding, watering, fertilizing, potting, and pruning etc.
• Monitor plants for signs of pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies and report issues.
• Spray trees, shrubs, and plants to prevent plant disease and pests.
• Prepare plants for shipping, including pulling orders, grading, boxing, stacking,

and wrapping etc.

• Operate and maintain nursery tools, machinery, irrigation systems, and equipment.
• Cleaning working areas when required.

Job Requirements:

• No education required.
• No experience needed; we will train.
• No language requirements.

Benefits:

• Accommodation will be provided at $30/ week (if required). Transportation to workplace is also available, if required.
