Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

• Inspect interior and exterior wall surfaces to identify damage, imperfections, and repair requirements
• Clean and prepare surfaces by removing loose paint, wallpaper, debris, and old finishing materials prior to repair work
• Perform drywall patching and restoration for damage caused by wear, moisture, renovation, or previous wall removal
• Apply joint compound to repair cracks, dents, screw holes, and other surface defects in drywall and plastered surfaces
• Apply multiple coats of compound, followed by sanding to achieve smooth and even wall and ceiling surfaces
• Tape drywall joints and seams using taping tools and embed tape into joint compound for reinforcement
• Remove and replace damaged drywall sections by installing patch pieces where required
• Install and repair metal corner beads to restore and protect wall corners from damage
• Finish corners and angles to ensure clean, uniform transitions between wall surfaces
• Feather, level, and blend repaired areas to match existing wall textures for a seamless finish
• Match and restore wall textures (smooth or light textures) to ensure consistency with surrounding surfaces
• Remove popcorn (acoustic) ceiling texture using scraping and surface preparation methods to create smooth finishes
• Perform final touch-up repairs to ensure surfaces are ready for painting or wallpaper application
• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or interior access equipment while protecting finished surfaces and fixtures
