Job Title: Harvesting Labourer
Terms of Employment: 30-40 Hours per week, Full-time/ Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $17.85 – $19.40 per hour (Depending on experience)
No of Positions: 18
Job Duties:
• Perform tasks such as hand harvesting, picking, sorting, packaging & weighing mushrooms.
• Loading/ unloading farm produce and supplies for transport.
• Cleaning and preparing mushroom beds and working areas.
• General clean-up of growing, producing, work areas and clean up racks, trays, harvest bins, etc.
• Sanitizing picking tools and working areas.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: No formal education required.
Experience: No formal experience required; successful candidates will be trained on job duties.
Language: No formal language requirement.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in various environments: cold, damp, dust.
• Ability to handle heavy workloads, which can be physically demanding.
• Ability to distinguish between colors, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to bend, couch, stand and kneel for long extended periods.
• Ability to work at a high-level height.
