Position – Food Counter Attendant

Job Description

• Greet, welcome, and take customers’ orders; receive cash and tenders changes.
• Assist with early guest complaints and notify supervisor/manager on duty immediately.
• Use deep fryers, oven, dispensers, and other equipment to prepare/warm food for the walk-ins or per order of the supervisor/manager.
• Clean worktables, cupboards, and appliances, remove trash and empty kitchen garbage containers.
• Clean, unwrap, slice and trim foodstuffs by means of manual and electric appliances.
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food.
• Sweep and mop floors and perform other duties to assist cooking and kitchen staff.
• Maintain sanitation of the restaurant including floors, tables, ledges, and counters.
• Maintain awareness with menu items and specials.

Other Requirements

• Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• No experience required. Will be trained
• Good interpersonal skills to deal efficiently with coworkers and guests.
• Professional appearance and manners.
• Good English language skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, A team player.

Work Environment

Weight handling up to 9 Kg (20 lbs)

Salary

$20.00 per hour.
