Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and profitable business performance.
- Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring guest experience and food quality standards are consistently maintained in accordance with company policies and brand expectations.
- Supervise, coordinate and monitor the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen staff and support employees.
- Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate staff members to maintain high standards of productivity, professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare employee work schedules, assign duties and monitor staff performance to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and food handling regulations at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, order food and restaurant supplies, and maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.
- Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain positive customer relations.
- Implement and enforce operational procedures, company policies and quality control standards.
- Assist in achieving business goals by monitoring sales, controlling labour and food costs, and supporting profit plan objectives.
- Analyze daily operations and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, service quality and overall restaurant performance.
- Support marketing, promotional and sales-building activities to increase customer traffic and business growth.
- Assist the General Manager with overall restaurant administration, employee retention and continuous operational improvement initiatives.
- Maintain records related to sales, employee performance, inventory and operational activities.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Job Details:
Salary: $36.50/hr
Full-time & Permanent position.
Qualifications
- 1 to less than 7 months in the food service industry is required.
- High School Diploma is required.
- People skills
- Able to manage priorities.
- Customer-oriented
Language Requirements
- Verbal and written efficiency in English
