Restaurant Assistant Manager

Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen Vietnamese & Canadian Cuisine Ltd. (DBA Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen) located on Victoria Drive, Vancouver B.C. We are specializing in serving authentic Vietnamese food such as fish cake noodles, special beef pho, noodle soup, spring rolls, and many more….  We are hiring a full-time Restaurant Assistant Manager.

We offer: C$36.75 (30-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation.

Job Requirement:

• Post-secondary program in hospitality or food service management an asset.
• 1 - 2 years of food service experience.

Job Duties:

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Help maintain service standards and ensure efficient customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
• Monitor employee performance and provide support as needed.
• Oversee inventory levels and order food, beverages, and supplies.
• Track sales and operating costs and assist with revenue control.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and assist with catering and special event arrangements.
