Salary: $19.50 to $ 21.00 /Hourly on 40 hours/week work schedule

Languages: English

Education: High School Diploma is required. College diploma would be an asset

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation and safety, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage restaurant or hospitality teams, ensure food quality standards, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or the food industry is highly valued, including roles such as barista, hotel staff, or kitchen supervisor.

Job Duties

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit relevant reports for management
• Must have knowledge of the restaurant’s culinary genres
• Establish work schedules
• Any other duty/duties assigned by management from time to time
