Tasks

- Interview offenders to prepare pre-sentence reports
- Prepare reports or case histories
- Supervise support staff
- Administrative and office activities
- Perform administrative tasks
- Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders, establishing rules of conduct, goals and objectives
- Conduct social research
- Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders
- Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs
- Conduct follow-up assessments
- Evaluate offenders' progress
- Resolve conflict situations
- Establish registry of special needs support workers
- Screen, recruit and train volunteers and support staff
