Job Duties:
- Coordinate daily operations by assigning tasks, scheduling staff, and monitoring project progress
- Oversee transportation activities, including dispatching drivers and tracking route efficiency
- Maintain communication with management and employees to ensure operational goals and timelines are met
- Prepare operational, production, and performance-related reports as required
- Ensure workplace activities comply with company policies as well as health and safety standards
- Supervise the use and operation of signal systems and track switch control equipment
- Resolve operational and workplace concerns while offering technical support and direction to staff
- Maintain detailed records related to operations, employee performance, and project updates
- Arrange employee training and provide guidance to support skill development
- Recommend improvements to procedures, productivity, and overall service quality
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, repair schedules, and rental arrangements when necessary
- Manage the procurement and availability of materials, tools, and operational supplies
- Provide recommendations regarding staffing matters, including recruitment, promotions, and disciplinary actions
