Permanent Position: HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) Mechanic

Main Location: Airdrie, AB

Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Airdrie & Calgary Region as per company contracts.

Wage rate: $40 per hour (35-40 hours per week)

Education:  Completion of High School. Trade Certification for refrigeration & air conditioning mechanics is an asset.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience

Language: English

Job Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment
• Inspect and test heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment
• Install and connect motors, compressors, condensers, thermostats, and duct systems
• Measure and cut piping, tubing, and sheet metal materials
• Recharge refrigeration systems and check for leaks using testing devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Replace defective parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump systems
• Ensure systems comply with building codes and safety regulations
• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records

Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, overtime if required.

Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50 lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, heights, rain, or shine.
