JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:
- Provide strategic direction for our entire portfolio of poker analysis solutions products, ensuring alignment to inputs from the CEO and board.
- Lead execution of our entire product roadmap.
- Expand our portfolio by releasing successful new products as appropriate.
- Work closely with other C-level executives and the board to align strategy and execution, and to agree on a roadmap.
- Lead Product Managers, User Experience Designers, and Product Experts to deliver in close partnership with the engineering department.
- Identify and mentor team members with the most potential and prepare them to take on additional responsibilities as the company grows.
- Establish and maintain a culture of independence, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.
REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
- At least four years of experience working in a product organization delivering software, in partnership with an internal engineering team.
- At least four years of experience working in the online poker industry in a role involving both direct contact with customers and direct impact on customer experience, including software features.
- At least one year of experience leading a product team to deliver across a portfolio of products.
- At least one year of experience leading an organization, including managing managers.
- A demonstrated history of profitable online poker play over a lengthy time period.
- An expert understanding of, and a passion for, the poker industry, the game of poker, and how solvers work.
- Clear, professional English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Curiosity, critical thinking (both strategic and tactical), and a reliably direct communication style.
- Confidence, decisiveness, and long-term vision.
- Strong sense of autonomy and ownership while fostering a culture of mutual respect, transparency, and open-mindedness.
