Subway Store located at 1567 Alta Vista Dr, Ottawa, ON K1G 0E9 is one of the busiest locations and urgently needs experienced, motivated and innovative Assistant Restaurant Manager. This is a challenging position where you will be required to work late evenings and weekends.

Job Description: 

As a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager, the applicant should be a team worker, punctual, proactive, outgoing and dependable.

As a Assistant Restaurant Manager, the main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Perform managerial duties as outlined in the Subway Operational Manual.
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant;
• Organize stock and equipment, order supplies and oversee cleanliness and security;
• Plan and work to budgets, maximize profits and achieve sales targets;
• Follow all Franchise Standards of operation, policies and procedures;
• Control takings in the restaurant and administer payrolls;
• Recruit new staff, and train and develop existing staff;
• Coordinate staff scheduling and rotation, and motivate and encourage staff to achieve targets;
• Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations;
• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained;
• Implement and instill in your team company policies, procedures and ethics;
• Handle customer complaints and queries;
• Implement branded promotional campaigns including the handling of point-of-sale Promotional materials, or devise your own promotional campaigns;
• Prepare reports and other performance analysis documentation; and
• Establish relationships with the local community and undertake activities that comply with the company's corporate social responsibility programs.

Salary: $36.50 per hour

 Required experience:

•  At least2 years of managerial work experience work experience at a fast-food restaurant
