Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead field operations on projects in the Anzac / Fort McMurray region. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising crews, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to required quality standards.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage productivity, enforce safety, and maintain accountability in a remote, camp-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews.
- Plan and assign work to meet project schedules and milestones.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Enforce safety policies and lead by example in all aspects of site safety.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and participate in safety meetings.
- Monitor productivity and adjust resources as required to meet targets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site management.
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, including labour, equipment, and progress tracking.
- Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and materials.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong understanding of field operations, crew management, and scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and project specifications.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive productivity.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in oil & gas, fabrication, or heavy industrial projects.
- Familiarity with remote site operations and camp-based work.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Leadership training or supervisory certifications.
Working Conditions
- Remote, camp-based position in the Anzac / Fort McMurray area.
- Rotation schedule may apply (to be confirmed).
