About Us:
NCL World Academy is an international medical education provider specializing in accredited CME activities, conferences, and professional development programs, including other community events. As part of our expansion into Canada, we are seeking an experienced consultant to support the development and execution of our first CME initiatives in the Canadian market.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and well-connected Medical Education & CME Events Consultant to support the planning, accreditation, and execution of healthcare educational activities in Canada. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in CME/CPD, healthcare conferences, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on Canadian CME/CPD accreditation requirements and processes
- Support the development of accredited medical education programs (conferences, courses, workshops)
- Identify and connect with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, institutions, and industry partners
- Assist in speaker identification and program agenda development
- Support planning and execution of medical conferences and educational events
- Advise on sponsorship opportunities and assist in sponsor engagement
- Contribute to marketing strategies targeting healthcare professionals
- Ensure all activities align with Canadian compliance and ethical standards
- Proven experience in medical education, CME/CPD, or healthcare event management
- Strong understanding of accreditation processes in Canada
- Experience organizing or supporting medical conferences and educational activities
- Background in sponsorship development and/or healthcare marketing is a strong asset
- Established network within the Canadian healthcare sector is preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in medical education, CME/CPD, or healthcare event management
- Strong understanding of accreditation processes in Canada
- Experience organizing or supporting medical conferences and educational activities
- Background in sponsorship development and/or healthcare marketing is a strong asset
- Established network within the Canadian healthcare sector is preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required
Proficiency in French is strongly preferred
